"The Good: Great location! Really amazing view. Very roomy. Very pretty. Pub at the bottoms of the steps is superb. The Bad: Don’t book in the summer. It heats up 10+ degrees hotter than outside and takes hours to cool down at night. We came in August and it was sunny and 25 def outside which translates to 35 deg inside according to our portable thermostat. Kitchen is really poorly stocked. "This property was wonderful to stay at with a large family gathering. The area was beautiful and the lodge was outstanding. The kitchen was fully equipped and a great gathering spot. "Booked the house for a long weekend for myself, adult children, their partners and baby. House was exceptional, large and well equipped with everything you could think of. Views were amazing. Location and surrounding countryside was fabulous. Can also recommend the pier cafe, and we had a wonderful time clay pigeon shooting with Gregor at Ledard Farm. Only one thing would have made our stay better - we should have booked for a week not a weekend ! Would definitely recommend."
