「Lovely property with plenty of room and a nice well kept back garden. Coffee and tea came in handy - little sachets of milk would be even better : ) Plenty of parking around and we could see the Etihad from the loft.」

「A beautiful, quiet setting with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Paul did everything he could to make our stay relaxing. The only slight drawback which he wasn’t able to affect was intermittent Wi-Fi, but didn’t affect our stay too much as we were looking for a quiet retreat.」

「The house is clean and comfortable on the inside. Outside ally that ran alongside the house had big bins which had rubbish overflowing and spreading across the path. Comms with owner none existent other then a couple of automated messages once I had paid. Not enough towels within the property for all guests no hot water for washing up asked for assistance from owner message never acknowledged. Overall happy with the property but little details could improve the stay. Cheap stay for 7 people and...

「Although there were enough towels in the room, there was no shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryer, so we didn't use the shower. The handle of the kitchen sink was falling off. There was no spare toilet roll either. Above all, the check-in process was very complicated, which caused us a lot of trouble...」

「We had a great holiday in this lovely house - highlights included the great views, exploring the grounds including the amazing orchard, cooking in the well equipped kitchen, walks down to the river and further afield, eating all together on the terrace, hanging out in smaller groups in the three sitting rooms (including the games room), and lots of fun indoors and out. Strongly recommend!」

「Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again. 」

「A group of 8 of us stayed at Rotherham House for a lowkey Hen Do and it was absolutely perfect for us! It was beautifully clean and everything was as described. Everything was fully stocked and there was anything we could need readily available at the property.
