The place is in what I consider a really great location at one end of Lake Annecy with a fantastic view across the length of the lake. A bicycle rental shop 2 minutes away is a GREAT way to get around the lake to Old Annecy with clear bicycle paths along huge stretches of the lake. My son a d I really loved...

"This hotel is right behind Mt. Blanc. Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. This is a great place just to relax. Not boring, but just a great hotel in a great place. You won’t go wrong here. "

Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place."
