Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Great place to stay for a ski holiday! We enjoyed our time (group of 5) and had a great breakfast every morning, and a free shuttle to the ski lifts. We really had a nice time
Very serviable staff, clean room, amazing spa and welcoming bar area.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we come back to La Clusaz.
Fantastic hotel, can’t fault it all. Very welcoming, staff excellent and location and services very convenient. We all had a great time and would happily go back again!
Excellent hotel, central location. Bus stops outside. Great breakfast& complimentary afternoon tea every day. Duplex room v spacious for 4 persons. Excellent value for money in pre season week.
We liked the little touches like the water dispensers and candy jars in the lobby. It was so lovely to wake up and sit on the balcony looking out at the mountains
This is a lovely hotel in a good location for the ski slopes (walking distance to the Bossonet lift even with skis and boots, but there is also the option of the free hotel shuttle to get down to the slopes, and then you get the village free ski bus to get back to the hotel at the end of the day if you want to).
The hotel staff stand out as being particularly good. Extremely courteous, quick to action any issues, and always someone available to help. We had an unfortunate issue with the people in the neighbouring room to ours, but the reception staff were very quick to try and sort the problem or find an alternative solution. Valet parking in the hotel's car park was beneficial and worth the 18EUR per night charge to avoid having to find a parking space outside.
Can't comment on the bar, breakfast or spa as didn't use any of these services.
Ski rental was excellent, good equipment and friendly staff member.
Rooms were very clean, with good facilities. Soundproofing between rooms is not great (we could clearly hear people in the rooms next to us) but that isn't a fault of the hotel.
Overall a very good stay, the hotel is clearly popular and also appears to be popular with families as we saw lots of children around.
Overall a very good staf
Great hotel for a week skiing La Clusaz, the hotel has its own vehicle to transfer you to one of the 2 lifts or the Tour Village bus passes every 10 mins. Spa is excellent with ice cave, sauna, rain shower and small pool, also a relaxation room with herbal teas. Hotel recommended we book restaurants prior to our visit which we did and was a good job we did as restaurants were turning people away. Breakfast buffet was really good great selection of cold and hot options and pastries. Would recommend and definitely return.
I enjoyed a short but pleasant stay at this alpine hotel during a motorcycle workaholiday. The room was very comfortable and cosy, equipped with all the amenities of a 4-star establishment. Despite the brief duration of my stay, I appreciated the presence of the spa and pool, although I didn’t have the chance to use them. I look forward to revisiting in the future.
We had a maisonette room which was great! The bed is very comfortable and everything was very clean. The cleaning staff and the receptionists were very kind.
On the other hand, the breakfast room is far too small for the number of guests. Some guests had to wait in the lobby for approximately 15 to 20minutes before getting a table.
The restaurant staff was understandably stressed out and overwhelmed.
Most of the time there wasn’t any food left and ordering hot drinks would take extremely long.
The pool area was nothing special.
Overall: In our opinion, the hotel is a good place to stay if you want to spend the day outdoors and enjoy the great location close to the gondola and the village. We wouldn’t recommend it if you’re planning a wellness weekend which revolves around staying in.
Everything about this hotel is great except for the food. The hotel has a 24h room service but no restaurant and the food is provided in little jars by a catering company. The food is edible but really not what you would expect in France and is poor value for money. I had a quick look at the breakfast buffet but did not bother knowing that nothing is cooked on site and went to a local bakery (Boulangerie Maniez) instead. The spa, the room and staff were great though. The only thing I did not like about the room is that it had no air conditioning which was mentioned in another review and the rooms get quite hot in the summer. I would suggest the hotel at least provide some desktop fans for guests. I would probably stay here again but would definitely find a local restaurant for dinner.
Absolutely lovely property! We stayed in the summer with our family of 5 in one of the two floor family rooms. Our 17, 15, and 13 year old kids said it was their favorite hotel they’d ever stayed in. Great amenities and great staff.
Absolutely fantastic. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Spa staff were brilliant and treatments fantastic.
What a fantastic spot on earth. The most amazing place with breathtaking view.
The hotel itself was incredible, with nice, luxurious and comfortable rooms with a cozy atmosphere. The spa was a treat that just completed the circle.
Our stay was faultless. We arrived very early (we had checked in online), left our bags securely with the staff and were provided a private room to change into ski clothes.
Reception bent over backwards to get our ski passes and equipment sorted as soon as possible to allow us to ski that day after giving us a lift to the ski lift, despite it being out of hours for this service normally. We returned very tired later with our room now ready and our bags already in the room.
All the staff were incredibly helpful and cannot fault anything.
Food was great also 👍
The hotel is well appointed and in very good condition 👍👍
