"Beach view was amazing, room was clean, bed was not comfortable, the continental breakfast was a joke (some nasty granola bars and muffins), but the rate was decent and the location was great. Right off Highway 101 with views of the forest and Pacific Ocean. I could hear the sea lions with my window down. Staff was nice, just fyi you talk to a remote worker (she was nice just caught me off guard talking to a screen). If you plan on exploring, this is the perfect spot to stay. Parking was also very easy. "

( even though 2 of the ones we encountered were newly hired and needed assistance from another staff member, everything was great ) For a hotel as nice as this is, you’d expect a better breakfast with more choices. Typical morning offerings from a cheaper hotel ( scrambled eggs, milk, bagels, toast, coffee and fruit juices ) "

"The facility is old but has been updated. But it is very noise and the people walking overhead sounded like they could fall thru the floor. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Sheets and bedding were so old they were literally limp. Coffee was terrible in the room and also at the breakfast bar where it tasted like a powdered mix. Breakfast was cereal, bagels and toast. It was free but not very enticing. The price was very affordable in March, so I got what I paid for."
