Very outdated. Plaster falling off the walls. Linoleum floor from the 1800s. I could hear the people next door whispering in their room. Room smelled like 16 dogs have been in there since the Reagan administration. I didn't see any bugs and the staff was very friendly, otherwise they should just tear it down and build a Holiday Inn there instead.

Building is older than expected but they do have new building to stay in. We were traveling with disability and our room was very spacious and clean. Not too thrilled about the two little chairs in the room, very uncomfortable. Very friendly staff. Let us check-in two hours early. For last minute decisions we would probably stay again and try out the new building.

We stayed at 3 places while traveling the coast and visiting the redwoods. The Bayview was the cleanest and most convenient. The staff was so nice, helpful with questions and at the desk each time we dropped in. The beds were clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door had a great selection and was delicious. The jacuzzi tub is in the corner of the main room and is big enough for 2. The building is on the main road which makes it super convenient and is just a short walk to the beach or marina.

A working aircon or a fan in the room. Even though its colder than summer the rooms are reaaly hot at night and opening the window helps but is a bit loud.

First night, we had a man on the side street point at us while parking, yelling and flailing his hands. When we decided we didn’t want to be a part of that commotion, we backed up and the man started aggressively walking towards us… maybe we are very country folk..but it felt extremely uncomfortable. I realized the shower, the night before we left… didn’t drain properly, so I showered in ankle Deep water, which was fine by me. We didn’t spend much time, just to sleep… so I would definitely utilize this space again. Not a five star resort, but I also sleep in the woods… so would recommend
