「The room was not clean, the food was disgusting and the place was loud all hours with drunk men and school trips. Only positive was that the bar lady was nice」

「You get what you pay for. For the price we paid, the guest house served its purpose. The room was fine, but the best bit was proximity to airport- we could easily jump on a bus and be there within 20 minutes.」

「The property is in a rather quiet/ not so busy location. The family room we stayed in, was very spacious and well maintained /clean. The bathtub was a treat with an unobstructed view of the back garden through the large window. The manager was a pleasant lady to deal with, and more than willing to help when needed. She ensured that our stay was comfortable. We also used the garden to have our dinner on the first night, that we ordered through Uber eats. Many thanks.」

「Too many notes telling you not to scratch things. It was nothing like as described on website. Spoon holding the window fastener, other windows held together with duck tape. . Felt damp in there so needed heat. Bedding wasn’t Egyptian cotton, bottom sheet was pea green. Tap just dribbled water out of wash basin. Lane and track down to property was terrible, full of holes. We didn’t stay for breakfast or to sleep there.」

「ギルフォードのハイストリートにある風格漂うプチホテル。 駅からも徒歩10分以内。スーツケースを引きずっても苦にならない距離でした。 お城、サリー大学、美味しい飲食店、お洒落なショップ、スーパーも徒歩圏内でギルフォードの全てを踏破できました。 ホテル内は貴族の館のような雰囲気です。 重厚な家具に、お花がいたるところに飾られていて、大変きれいに保たれていました。 お部屋も大変広く驚きました。 裏部屋でしたが、窓も大きく、明り取りも十分です。 お紅茶なども色々おいていただき、とても楽しめました。 お湯が出ないコメントが散見されましたので恐れていましたが、私の滞在中は、火傷しそうなくらい熱いお湯が十分に出ました。 おぞらく、ロンドンですと、3倍近い宿泊料金なるかと思います。 スタッフの方もどの方も大変親切で、気持ちよい滞在となりました。 ギルフォードへ行かれる方には、ぜひお勧めしたいです。 」

「There was quite a lot of noise from the restaurant below us and the garden, also heard staff at 0630 outside. Internet was not good enough for a video meeting so had to leave early. Bathroom was tiny. Okay but wouldn’t stay again. 」
