「When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. 」

「The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. 」

「La Placita a small boutique hotel with great accommodations. The rooms were very nice, modern and the location was very convenient. The accommodations were nice, clean, and cleaned well daily. No bugs. The bed was a little harder than we preferred, but a mattress topper made it just right to sleep well. Kimberly and Michael at the front desk were very attentive and warm. The hotel manager, Angel is very helpful, checked in often, and has great rapport with his staff. He went above and beyond...

The property was clean and well maintained, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast buffet made a great start to the day. We were one of the few guests who were not snorkelling of diving, but still found plenty to do in a very safe area. 」
