「We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). 「When I arrived I received a very warm welcome from the owner and all of the members of staff that I met. I had an excellent dinner on two nights at the hotel and once again the staff were excellent offering a very personal service. On one of the nights the restaurant was quite busy but it didn't affect the great service or the time it took to prepare my meal. It was the same at breakfast where the choices were excellent. 」

「Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.」

「Its very peacefull and quite and clean. Its self catering and shops are bit far so best take extra food and grocery. We stayed in bunglow and they got nice clean kitchen with all the cooking facilities. Rooms are nice but mattress are bit old.View from bunglows are lovely,I ll try to share image. Staff are friendly. All in all 5 stars. Price reflects. 」
