Charming Coastal Home nestled in downtown Rockport. Super close to the water!
The Market Street Retreat is a charming coastal cottage nestled in the heart of Rockport. It offers easy access to downtown, the Art District, dining options, & the beautiful Rockport beach. This 2 bedroom 2 bath remodeled home exudes so much coastal charm. The master bedroom offers a Queen size bed and a insuite bath. The guest bedroom has a Queen bed along with 2 Twin beds. There is a second bath located right outside the bedroom. The spacious livingroom has room for the whole family to get together in the evening for a nice movie. The kitchen has a breakfast table and there is also a nice dining table in the dining room. The kitchen is spacious and has room to make the perfect meal or cook your catch of the day. The backyard is amazing! There is room to sit out and BBQ in the evening or have a few drinks on the patio. Nice clean place. Nice getaway for families or couples visiting the beach! The host was also very quick to respond and flexible with our dates. The only downside I would say is good add some safety features for kids as the house is right off a busy road. We did have to add a safety latch to doors for our autistic child. However the kids loved the room with the 2 beds and the tv and loved the back yard with the swing!

Annual Family Get-Together
We loved our stay at this charming little house. There were a total of 6 who stayed here and there was plenty of room for others in the family to come and join us for a visit. The kitchen was well-stocked with all types of cookware and there were plenty of towels, etc. Our only disappointment was that the outdoor temperature was so hot (and there were also some pesky mosquitoes) that we didn't get to enjoy the sweet little backyard as we would have liked to. Overall, just a really great stay and would not hesitate to stay here again if we decided to re-visit Rockport!
