"The host goes out of his way to make you feel at ease and answered questions we didn't even know we had. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away and some amazing snorkelling and baby shark sightings out past that Maui jetty.
Their garden is spectacular and all done by hand and Dee's brewed coffee is better than even Cafe Planet's up the road. 10/10 will try again . Thank you Ken and Dee :)"

"Steps to go to villas. Not suitable for older people or disabilities. Reasonable value for money. Pool good size. Nice views. Restaurant staff are not knowledgeable and food is sub-par. Lagilagi spa is fantastic."

"While not a high end property, I would go back. There were issues with the TV and we couldn't adjust the temperature but we loved the small group, family vibe. The food was ok, but good value considering. The staff was great. Loved the location."

"The highlight of this resort is The beach. This and views are stunning and staff are all super friendly. There’s also loads to for kids and adults alike to where I never needed to leave the resort. The hotel itself is a little outdated but it’s situated on such beautiful grounds that when you’re outside of the room the scenery makes up for it. On the downsides: if you are travelling with a family and don’t feel comfortable leaving your child with a babysitter there are a fair amount of places you can’t go as it’s adults only. Would be good if some of the food options would have the ability to bring kids along (even maybe just during the earlier sittings like lunch or early dinner) so that hotel guests with small kids aren’t stuck at the same options for dinner each night). Another bit of constructive feedback would be the cleanliness. Not just rooms wise but even the general toilets, restaurants etc aren’t very well maintained compared to some of the other resorts I’ve stayed at. I had a cockroach in my room, and also saw one in the breakfast buffet area. The property is surrounded by lots of trees and greenery though - not sure if this is why.
All in all - honestly it was a really relaxing stay at the staff who work there really are amazing."
"The property is beautiful and peaceful. The staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming. We stayed in a lagoon front bure, and it was wonderful - walk right out to a sandy beach and can go swimming in the lagoon or just chill on your private patio and watch the wildlife. Momi Bay Marriott is a bit of a drive from town, so keep that in mind for excursions. About 45 minutes to Nadi. Fish Bar is so amazing, looking out over an infinity pool to the ocean and big waves breaking in the distance. Everyone here is so friendly and remember your names, your drinks. The food at fish bar is delectable; highly recommend the lobster bisque, the tuna appetizer from the salt menu was served with our first meal and everyone loved it! We participated in a few rainy day activities and they really were a good time. Watching the fish outside Goji was one of our favorite morning activities. This resort has everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. I don’t ever want to leave!"
DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Fiji - Sonaisali Island
10/10 Excellent
"The Doubletree Resort was like a home away from home. The staff turned into family-family you like. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and accommodating. So many activities available to keep every age entertained. The meals were excellent-a wide assortment for the buffet breakfast and dinners. Great for families or couples."
"Bula.,,. Rooms are not ready before 3pm, requested a room close to family 3 weeks before travelling and had no reply to request, when arrived we were put miles away from family that were already there. We booked a 2 bedroom unit which was very spacious but the whole resort is very run down and needs some TLC, our unit had no conditioner, laundry powder, face clothes, tea towels etc until requested. The adults only facilities look more maintained than the rest of the resort and if you are after a spa or gym they are in this area which is at the other end of the resort. Deli or restaurant could not offer pizzas for kids which where on the menu and there was no help of where we could get them from. The resort staff are always happy and great with the kids, especially the activities team but this does not always make up for the below average cleanliness or maintenance."
"The atmosphere was terrific. The staff wonderful. We were in "standard" accomodation and our room had 2 queen beds, a spacious bathroom, tea making facilities and a balcony overlooking the pools areas. The room & house-keeping were fastidiously clean.
The resort is quite spreadout and access to some areas - like the beach - is not fluid. Perhaps some signs? I was not the only one who got lost / confused.
The resort is not fully geared for the disabled or anyone with mobility issues. Some stairs have no handrails; others had handrails on one side only. It is my thought that Resort management is focussing on younger folk and families rather than oldies.
Breakfast was great; there was lots of variety. The staff were energetic, enthusiastic & highly organised.
The restaurant food is about double what you would pay outside the Resort. The drinks about the same. But considering the service and facilities I considered that reasonable. For those looking for a couple of beers in your room, there is a supermarket within walking distance.
I would have liked there to have been a shop on site selling togs, t-shirts, board shorts, sarongs, swimming floaties / noodles and the like. There is plenty of room for one in the main lobby area. Otherwise Nadi township is a $FJ25 transfer; $FJ40 return ride away. Or you can take a taxi from around the corner from the supermarket."
"So this place rocked. The rooms were excellent, AC that kicked butt and a staff that was friendly and welcoming. Meal plans for full board were available for $140FJD per day per person (approx $65) but all meals could also be selected individually. The best part is there were a set of 4 restaurants a 10 min walk away that served fast food, Italian, waffles and Chinese/Indian food that were very reasonably priced. The daytime activities were really fun including a reef walk, coconut facts, kayaking, snorkeling, tennis, and paddle boarding. It’s about 1 3/4 hour drive from the NAN airport. The two pools were spotless and welcoming. Key tip. Book directly thru their website and receive a discount and free breakfast. I didnt do that and regret not doing. The only negative about this place is that once you book it’s non refundable so make sure you have insurance. I lost two days due to Fiji Airways screwing me."
"I couldn't recommend this place enough - from the moment I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel like family. All the staff were incredible, including the receptionists, bar staff, cooks, masseuses & activities team. Particular shout out to Atu, Talei & Vetu!!! As a solo traveler, I couldn't be more thankful for how I was made to feel - I already can't wait to return and see everyone again.
Besides the staff, the facilities themselves were incredible - the dorm rooms were clean & comfortable, with a really cool outdoor shower that felt really luxurious. The beach was also gorgeous, as was the pool & bar area.
It was really easy to get to and from Nadi Airport using the local public buses - they drop you off and pick you up directly from outside the resort.
Activities & excursions provided were really wonderful, affordable and led by incredibly friendly & knowledgeable staff. I did the jungle hike & island snorkeling trips. The massages on offer were also really wonderful and affordable.
Finally, food & drink offered at the resort was all of a high quality and affordable.
All in all, I couldn't fault this place, in fact one of the best I've ever stayed at.
Thank you to everyone at The Beachouse!!!"
