"Room was nice and people were friendly. The restaurant and bar on site was wonderful. Our room was in the back building and it was raining so we needed to unload in the rain with no canopy. We were on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator. Unfortunately, there was a water main that went to our area of the hotel that had an issue, and in the morning, we had no water. The main building did have water. We were given a $23 refund for the inconvenience. (No shower in the morning and the inability to flush the toilet). This is refected in my review because from reading reviews for restaurants online, I learned that the hotel may have known there was a possibility we would have no water and did not forewarn us. Otherwise, they may have gotten 5 stars."
Brookside Cottage is a beautiful open concept doll house stay for two.

"The rental far exceeded our expectations and James was a very responsive host. The house was immaculate with absolutely everything needed provided. The kitchen was stocked with coffee pods and snacks for both kids and adults, and anything you needed to either cook a meal or serve takeout is provided. We had a little trouble with the lock, both getting the door to open after we entered the code and getting it to lock when we left the first time. James helped quickly with both and neither posed further concern. We look forward to returning to Berkeley Springs and to this sweet cottage in the future."

"This property was awesome. It was clean, welcoming, and cozy with little touches from the host that made a difference. The communication from the host was top notch throughout the entire experience! The driving directions made it easy and no stress to navigate. The binder of local information that was provided was invaluable and helped us plan our day trips into town. We had a wonderful time enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. The setting and surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be back!"

"This property was perfect for my families weekend get away for Apple Butter Festival. There enough beds and rooms to accommodate all 10 of us easily! TVs were fabulous and the hot tub was really nice after a long day. The host was extremely communicative and check in check out was easy. The kids played on the video games while the adults watched football. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!"
