「My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! 「Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!」

「Fishing and hiking was goal. First day beautiful early fall day about 73 and partly sunny. Caught a few bass and enjoyed the beautify lake that had little development and hope it stays that way! Cabin was perfect for location with so many other lakes to explore if bringing own boat, kayak or canoe. Hiking trails and Chippewa National Forest is awesome!」

「The communication prior to arrival was awesome and Jay helped us with our reservations even. The resort had everything we needed and was perfect for our young girls to explore. 「The area around this house is part old commercial and part empty and dilapidated. I was traveling alone and felt I was in an unsafe area. The house was secure with good locks though. The first night the occupied house next door had a consistent banging on the door at 3 am and woke me up. The next 2 nights were without incident. Overall I liked the place for its cleanliness and updated bath and kitchen. Having streaming TV’s was very nice. I would stay here again if back in town. 」
