"We ( two families with 2 children under 6 each) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the proximity to the beach, to the view as well as cows and sheep, and access to the beach bar which was excellent. The house though plenty large enough for us, was very open, which meant sounds travelled ( babies crying either early in the morning or late at night). It was cozy and had all that we needed. Host was so lovely and helpful, easy to reach if we needed anything."

The house itself was amazing. Spacious, clean and comfortable with everything required for our family of 9 with thoughtful touches throughout. "Debbie’s cottage was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Debbie and the resident cat, Lilly - an added bonus! The views from the cottage were exactly as pictured, and made more enjoyable by the neighborhood of sheep, donkeys and cattle. The cottage is on a quiet road by the sea, perfect for daily strolls . Debbie was more than helpful with dining and activity suggestions. The only thing that would make our stay better would have been staying 2 weeks...

They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"
