「A classic 18 century coaching in with Ultra modern facilities and Michelin level food the staff are really helpful and can’t do too much for us helping us tune our TV to ensure that we had ability to watch the World Cup games. The food is a different level to coaching and could be a Michelin star restaurant the court outstanding and the quantity very generous. 「Very modern, refurbished room, overlooking the beer garden and caravan site. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of goodies in the room, including fresh milk in the mini fridge, and the extra treats you get for staying with a doggo. 「The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. 「Clean and spacious room, sitting by the fire in the bar is lovely. Breakfast was delicious, however the room was freezing, the amazing staff member serving breakfast did turn on the heating but it didn't help much. 」
