「We loved the hotel so much! The bar and restaurant provided nice food and very friendly service. The staff at the reception is kind, welcoming. All people there make us happy. One thing, the double bed in room 17 is squeaky. The mattress is good! Bathroom is very clean! Thank you very much, we’ll come again definitely.」

「Absolutely beautiful hotel the staff was all very polite and welcoming me and my husband both loved the room very modern decor it was very clean and smelt lovely on arrival the spa bath in the room was perfect we stayed the Easter weekend we also had food and drinks downstairs in the restaurant the food was delicious and a fantastic range of drinks and cocktails we will definitely be returning again thank you for a fantastic stay 」

「waterheadという場所にあり、amblesideの中心からは離れているが、歩いて15分だしまあまあなロケーション。 スタッフの感じは明るくアジア人に対しても差別は感じなかった。 朝ごはんのレベルは高く盛り付けは品がいい。 部屋はシングルだったが、ベッドはダブルサイズで清潔であり快適。アップグレードされたのかもしれないが。ただし部屋はロッジ風で宿泊客の通り道だったためカーテンをしておかないと外から中が見えます。湖水地方にしてはリーズナブルなお値段だったので、こんなものかも。セントラルヒーティング《ラジエーターと言いますが》完備。」

「お部屋は清潔でタオルの設定枚数も多く非常に快適でした。設備の不具合にも迅速かつ親切に対応してくれました。レストランの夕食も美味しかったです。スタッフは皆さん親切でロケーションもフェリー乗り場に近く非常に良かったです。」

「The bathroom was clean, as was the bedroom, except carpet was very worn & not so clean looking. We had twin beds, which were comfortable. We ate dinner at the pub that evening & the food & service were both good! The included, cooked to order breakfast was very tasty. All the staff were helpful!」

「The manager was helpful as the roller blind did not work properly and the retaining cable(s) had to be cut for the blind to drop and cut out the daylight. The evening meal was excellent.」

「This was a fantastic find for an overnight stay on our way to Glasgow, wish we could have stayed longer and explored the lake and surrounding areas. The bar and restaurant were very good and the couple who were managing the pub at the time of our stay were excellent hosts. There is plenty of parking and this very old pub has very modern rooms. Would defiantly recommend and stay again. 」

「Staff at reception very friendly and informative. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our lodge and although we didn't take part it looked like there was lots of activities going on (this didn't disturb us) Our lodge was bigger than expected and clean Lots of cutlery and plates to use and a filter coffee machine which was a lovely touch. The property is easy to get to and a good base for exploring the area. 」
