「My experience was impressive from the moment I checked in to the time say bye to the host. Combination of homey atmosphere and very nice room furnitures, which were professionally managed, offered us fantastic stay. The B&B situated in 15 to 20 min walking distance from Bowness-on-Windermere, the nearest town, where you can enjoy shopping and dinning, and we benefited from very calm room environment because of the location. 「Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.」

「The staff here are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Check in was smooth, lovely big room with hot tub, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed to name but a few positives. The only slight negative and I emphasis slight - room 2 ground floor can get quite noisy outside due to customers coming and going for breakfast. However this would not put me off and would definitely return. Parking limited.」

「Gorgeous Hotel centrally located in the village of Hawkshead, room had all the facilities, key pad entry so no keys to carry Bottles of water by the bedside and even my favourite Costa Coffee pods for the coffee maker Beautiful restaurant/cafe downstairs. Breakfast was included in my stay and was one of the best I’ve had Staff were very helpful and very nice Really can’t fault it and would definitely stay again 」

"グラスミアーの湖面に面していて最高の環境であった。食事も旨く、夕食付きの予約は、お得だった。レストランの若い女性の給仕達が喧しいこと、シーツが5日間替えられなかったこと、ランドリーサービスが無いこと、駐車場側の部屋だったので、眺望がいまいちだったことが残念だった。"

ザベルズフィールドホテル

"個人の邸宅を改装している趣きのあるホテル。湖畔は目の前で、フェリー乗り場にもすぐの素晴らしいロケーション。街中にも近い。階段が多いことや廊下が軋むことなど、建物の古さは感じるが、泊まった部屋は改装後でシャワーとバス別々にあり、湖畔側なので朝の湖を眺めることができ快適だった。レセプション、ルームサービス、レストラン等のスタッフもとても親切で、レストランの予約や観光プランなどの相談にも対応し、幼児にも優しく接してくれた。コメントに書かれているような人種差別的な態度は感じられなかった。ただし、外装工事中(かなり長い期間行っている模様)の表示がサイトにないこと、リフトが故障しており、見たところ修理する予定もなさそうなこと(荷物は運んでくれるが、幼児を抱えての移動には苦労あり)、結局最初の日は街中のレストランの予約が取れず、それ以上のサポートがなかったことを勘案した評価としました。"
