"We loved our time at Mowamba Lodge. We had 3 nights here so plenty of time to relax in the warm pool and walk around the beautiful gardens. There are hammocks everywhere! The staff were very friendly and polite and the guides were very knowledgeable. We saw as much wildlife on the free afternoon tours around the hotel as we did in the National Park. "Hotel is located in a secluded area, surrounded by nature and water, a beautiful landscape. Room was spacious , no air conditioning but with a ceiling fan that was helpful at night. We like the Pool area with the monkeys jumping around"

"Fabulous experience staying in the jungle. Accommodation basic but lying in bed listening to howler monkeys / frogs can't be beaten. Staff extremely helpful and the breakfast banana pancakes when we arrived via water taxi were amazing. Lots of places to sit out in the breeze looking at the river boats and bird watch "

"This guest house is great. The staff are so helpful. Emmanuel on reception contacted us in advance to give us really useful travel advice. The ferry dropped us straight to the guest house so we didn’t have to carry our bags a long distance. We were in the lagoon room which had an amazing view. Really good value for money. I definitely recommend this place. "
