「We had a fantastic stay loved the boat ride to the lodge, rooms were spacious, lovely big bathroom
Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river
Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent
Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds

We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and...
「Excellent stay at Mawamba lodge. Gardens around the ground are great and we saw sloths and Toucans a short walk from our room. Breakfast was great as was the dinner we had at the restaurant. Pool can get quite busy with families and children. Town is only a short walk away or they can provide a river taxi. Also took part in the tours arranged by the hotel which was fantastic with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Would highly recommend it visiting Tortuguero 」
「Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. You are not in the main town so do need to get a boat if you want meals elsewhere and they do offer complimentary transport but the last one comes back at 5 so if you want dinner out you have to pay for the boat. That was really the only inconvenience but it wouldn't stop me from booking again. They helped us book the tours and it was easy and practical. 」
「It might not be as fancy as it's neighbouring Resorts but what it lacks in this makes up in Manager & staff friendly, going out of there way to make it a memorable stay. Can't thank the Manager enough, helping us out on tours, getting into town and also connecting us to the next destination, making it stress free and it's just a chilled resort, yes it's basic but we loved it, great little pool which Son made as much use of it as possible and well the wildlife around the resort was just amazing!...
「This place is a trip! It’s accessible only by water taxi. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and have screen windows only - no glass! There are monkeys everywhere. The staff is very gracious and nice, and really made our trip special. 」

「Hôtel simple et efficace avec accès à la mer (dans laquelle on ne se baigne pas au mois d’Août), proche du village. L’accès plage est restreint entre 6h du matin et 6h du soir pendant la période de ponte des tortues.

「AC was excellent and much needed in hot, humid climate. Awesome view. Family room was excellent for cost value. Unfortunately, new obnoxious bar next door plays terrible music late into the night. Not the fault of the guesthouse and maybe not an issue mid week. 」
「Really authentic place. Beautiful grounds, we saw lots of birds here, and big iguanas. The swimming pool is beautiful and relaxing. Comfy rooms. Make sure to book your tours from here. We booked our turtle tour and canoe tour from here. Our turtle guide is miss Nori from the hotel. She is beyond amazing! She is local, so knowledgeable and does patrols along the beach to protect the turtles. Really admirable!」

Accès un peu perturbant car on se perd un peu dans les ruelles du village mais on s’y fait très vite . 3mn de la mer 3mn des restos
