「Ok」

「Great location and really clean. Maintenance needed badly as the outdoor shower leaks from the pipes and the shower head in the room was coming out the wall. Still a nice clean motel with friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again!」

「A small but very clean and well maintained motel. Comfortable beds and quiet HVAC. Close to casual food options.」

「Great location for fishermen. There is a fish cleaning station with free ice. Can’t beat it.」

「While this property was built in 1939 and therefore are smaller rooms, it has retained the lovely charm of its day and incorporated modern amenities. It is well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was attentive to the area. While the dunes prevent a view of the ocean, it is just a short walk to the beach. 「We really enjoyed our stay! The oceanfront view was amazing and definitely a highlight. Although the property is older, it is very well maintained and clean. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!」

「We like the Avon Motel. We stay there everything we are there. The staff is great」

「Nothing fancy but a fun place to stay next to the ocean」

「Superb!!」

「What worked: AC, fridge, beds What didn’t: lights, doors, staff」

「Very clean. All the amenities one might need and having a kitchenette was helpful. I have mobility issues and everyone on the staff was incredibly helpful. There are a couple tips I would like to leave. For others with mobility issues, the trek to the beach was arduous. I found easy access to the beach on 3rd Street in Emerald Isle which is not far away. There’s parking, a ramp, and a very short walk with no steps. And for the owners of Beacon, I would suggest leaving instructions for the air...
