Central location .. easy to get to golf, white sands iin Alamogordo, hiking trails etc. Pictures are accurate, and there is a nice porch in front of the room for enjoying the evening. Staff are courteous and efficient. The appliances worked as intended .. WiFi was consistent. Breakfast (not included) offers a variety of foods and is served at the cafe on property. Later meals are also served at the cafe. A bonus was a piece of banana bread complimentary for hotel guests. The variety of collectibles in the rooms and in the cafe is astounding. Entertainment in itself. There is a commercial laundromat in the complex as well. Given the opportunity, we would return.

Wonderful hospitality and great location. Very convenient to have the nice cafe as part of the motel. Typically, small rooms of an older hotel but very nicely and creatively updated and decorated.

Amazing place!

Beautiful, recently remodeled and clean as a pin. Safe enough that we felt comfortable leaving all the windows open to sleep and let the 60 degree pine scented air in. Attached restaurant offered fare that was delicious and very reasonable. Mattress was so comfortable that I ordered one for my home when we got back. Loved the motel, wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back. owners are sweet as can be, There is also an on-site laundry! Owners live on-site, so if there was a problem, (which there were none) I assume it would be simple to reach them. We have zero complaints. It is an awesome place. Both the hotel and restaurant were decorated so nice. We will definitely go back for a longer stay. And there is also a very nice golf course nearby!

Charming little motel

We were pleasantly surprised to find this little place. It was clean and newly updated, friendly people, and a good price. A little fridge, coffee maker and microwave made it even better!

The Banana Bread alone is worth the visit.

This place is Awesome!! We were greeted by Dusty himself. We had dinner and breakfast at the Cafe and received a discount because we had a room. We also got a slice of Banana Bread for FREE just because we were guests at the motel and it was delicious!! The room was very comfortable, the Cafe made meals convenient, it's just a wonderful place to stay. I will definitely go back. My daughter, who went with me, is already planning a weekend trip there with her husband.

Staff very friendly and down to earth. More importantly the room was clean, very clean. it looked and smelled and felt like they do a good job at cleaning. I can't stress enough how comfortable that makes me feel. My home is only a couple of hours away and we do weekend getaways here often and I am considering Dusty Boots as my default place to stay from now on.

Great little get away

This little hotel was quaint and very cute. The rooms have been/are being renovated so they are fresh and the decoration matches the name - all cowboy'd up! The restaurant is just across the driveway where the food was tasty and filling. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. A great stay!

Everything was really cute. The coffee pot in our room didn't get cleaned from the people before us, so we had to go out for coffee. I really liked the decor - ski theme. Very comfortable.

Decor is so unique. Room was immaculate, staff was friendly. Drive to and from was beautiful. Tye owner Dusty is ver friendly, and helpfull, ge also is very hands on in the cafe, cooked our breakfast.

This place is a real gem. Nice people, great touch and decor in the rooms, just amazing and cute and homey. We also used their laundromat next door and met a local. We were inspired to visit Cloudcroft itself by NM natives. If you make your way to this great little town, by all means stay here.
