「Great room, clean and tidy, just a bit noisy until closing time! Would stay again.」

「Staying here was amazing. The room was just what I needed for my one night stay in Durham. The bus stop wasn’t far away and was very easy to get into the city center. I arrived a little bit early and they didn’t even flinch to get me into my room. Highly recommend!」

「We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings」

「Great location & lovely spacious room. Communication was exceptional & everything was easy to understand. We would recommend staying here as it’s very quiet but so easy to get into Whitby & a few metres from the beach. We have already said we want to stay again.」

「I cant fault this stay in any way.location was perfect, amenities were spot on,and the wheel house, converted garage was done out emaculate with lovely add on,so.if I ever was stay in whitby again, this is where ide stay. Big thank you to the hosts.」

「A comfortable stay in a clean, basic room. I was dropping my kid off at Durham, and needed an affordable, nearby place. This came up on an Expedia search. 「It is a dog and child friendly pub with a large garden area with a childrens bouncy castle, so if you like dogs and children this is the place for you. The Menu was a little restricted to typical pub grub. Prices for wine and beer were on the high side. If you want to eat a meal without being disturbed by hoard of children going to the toilet then avoid the garden room dining area.」

「We returned here this year after enjoyjng our stay last year and we were again very happy. The staff friendliness, lovely very comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast did not disappoint. Being able to have dinner in the restaurant is a definate plus with not having to go out after a long day driving. We would definitely recommend staying here.」

「Stayed one night ahead of a day in Durham. Easy access to the town, good food and room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent B&B」

「Stunning room but small and missed having a chair to sit on. Bed very high and in my 70th found a little difficulty getting onto the bed. But great tea tray lovely cups for tea and coffee.」

「Nettes kleines Hotel direkt am Meer.」
