Let's be fair, the hotel is old and some of the carpets are a little tired; but it's very clean, the staff are excellent, the location is good and the pricing very reasonable. Breakfast was first class.

This hotel is very conveniently located. It is clean and comfortable except for the heavy duvets on the beds and no top sheet. Even with the windows open we sweat most of the night, but it was too chilly to remain uncovered.

Nice reasonably priced hotel very close to the Place Jaude (in effect the centre of Clermont-Ferrand), but in a fairly quiet street. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast.

Property was centrally located in walking distance of the shopping area and sites. As a result throughout the night lots of young people returning from a night on the town made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Our balcony thank goodness on the second floor he no lock on it. Parkade was very interesting, made only for smaller vehicles it was a very tight squeeze to get through the gate and then up a very steep slope to the parking stalls (with our rental we ended up having to take two stalls).

Dated hotel with building work

There are a lot of external renovations going on at The Kyriad atm To the extent that a couple of workmen were outside our bedroom window whilst we were still in bed !! The rooms are very small and dated as are the bathrooms

Property was good BUT after a couple of days of hot rooms while on our travels we specifically booked this hotel/room which said it had a/c. It didn't, just hot air as it was supposedly still winter! Had to try sleeping with the windows open and city noise! Staff were not sympathic.

If you want to charge your electric car, if you want to inform the hotel about that an hour before arrival, and if you still want to find out that the whole parking lot is "full" according to a completely unhelpful lady at the reception, this 1970s hotel is one for you. Also highly recommendable for lovers of a heating device in the room that makes loud noises throughout the night. Fans of awkward, old and not really attractive hotel rooms will also find a lot to discuss and laugh about in this place.

I won’t stay there again

The hotel is very old. Parking site is horrible; dark and you won’t feel safe. Very narrow for car to go through. 15 euros for one night. I booked there for the EV car charging but all charging station were full. The hotel elevator is old. You can see through the door when it goes up. The building is old. I don’t understand how can they charge so high price for this kind condition
