「My husband and I’s mini-honeymoon stay at the Wayside Inn was great! The room we had was clean, spacious, charming, and cozy all at once. Mr. Joe the innkeeper was very friendly and was always there when we needed him for anything. He also cooks a mean breakfast and has a great knowledge of the unique history of the property. Overall, it was a great place to get away from the bustle and noise of the city and just relax! Hopefully we will get to come back soon 😊」

「Best location possible for my trip to DC. Very short walk to the Metro and excellent restaurants in Brookland. I highly recommend The Harp. Best pint of Guinness outside of Dublin.」

「The cleaner did a ok job, I would suggest wiping the walls down as well I would highly suggest taking out the paper towels and adding a broom or some swiffers . I have never been to any rental where a broom/vaccum wasnt available. The logic should be if people want dry hands they can buy paper towels. But a broom is a necessity to keeping the apt clean. Especiall6 of its pet/kid friemdly no one wants to buy a broom on vacation. 」

「The neighborhood is pretty decent, although it looks like it is going through a rebuilding process at the time I stayed. The place was a bit dusty, the owner did not respond well when I needed it, some of the furniture was really cheap and wobbly, and the bed was horrible. I would say, in hindsight, I wish I had picked another place for the money I spent.」

「Ideal location, close to where I needed to go. The rooms very comfortable and clean. There are a few things I didn't like. First they were doing remodeling so there were boxes and equipment in view on the back area. There is a large crack on the outside stairs in the front and the railing seemed loose and bending outward. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.」
