「A mix of old and new - breakfast room / restaurant is gorgeous. Secure key card entry to rooms/lifts which is always great.」

「My friends and I stayed overnight during our road trip. We chose the hotel because it was along our route and had ample parking available. We were expecting a comfortable stay, good hospitality, quiet surroundings, easy parking… and that is EXACTLY what we got. Zero complaints and would happily book again if in the area.」

「Great stay. Derek and Rena were lovely hosts. Breakfast was great. Overall a very nice stay indeed.」

「A great location with Lovely staff:)」

「The room was lovely but the sink in the en-suite was tiny & hard to get a wash or clean your teeth in without getting water everywhere. The front of the sink unit was already water damaged. The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. 「We are here for a real quick stop. Easy location on and off the highway.」

「very helpful staff , good prices.」

「We had a lovely warm welcome from Morag. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Morag shared with us local recommendations for eating out. Our morning started off with the most delicious Scottish breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay at The Hightae Inn.」

「Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover.」

「The property and staff were exceptional breakfast was amazing」
