"There was a $150/night hold on my card (so $600 for my 4 night stay) when I checked in that was a big surprise to me. That could potentially ruin someone whole trip if they had it on a bank card and were unaware. Otherwise, our stay was okay. They have some plumbing issues that made the pipes moan very loud when hot was on, but was otherwise quiet even with construction happening outside. All staff members that we interacted with were friendly. The location was perfect - close to public transportation (even with the State/Lake station closed for aforementioned construction) and right across from the Chicago Theater, which was cool. If you pick your room through the Hilton app, pick an odd number room for a possible river view. "

"This was such an elegant hotel. The staff was professional, proficient and friendly. The coffee station on the second floor offered a nice selection of coffee and was open 24 hours a day. I loved the area of the hotel was in. I walked to many places and there was a lovely restaurant next-door. I would definitely go back."

"I thought the hotel was great. It has excellent views if you book a front facing room. The staff was really nice. I had an issue with my allergy to feathers. I had previously requested a room without feathers on the Expedia app, however it wasn’t forwarded to the Hotel. I told the Hotel about it, and they immediately had a room prepared for me and removed the feathers from it, but still left the bedding that was under the feather duvet cover and feather pillow, so I had a pretty bad allergic reaction the two days I was there. I don’t think I would’ve been able to stay a third. It was pretty disappointing, but I think if you don’t have a feather allergy at the hotel is a pretty great place. No other complaints or whatsoever other than this feather issue"
