「There are no elevators so you walk up the stairs with your luggage. There is no shower head, only a handheld shower with the thinnest of water to shower with. Breakfast was…. very regular at 1-star level. It’s not worth the cost! 」

「Kind staff, room service available. Difficult to access, especially with flooding, means walking across wooden planks to get there. WiFi very intermittent and slow.」

「We enjoyed our stay at Bamburi Villas, Divine the manager was ready to help from the time we reached till the time we left. Felt at home. We will be back」

「This was the worse experience I have ever had! We checked in on Saturday. Shortly after a few hours, where I discovered there was no hot water and one of the ACs were broken, we lost complete power. After 2 hours of the host asking us to wait in the dark, I decided to leave and check into another hotel. The whole time I was in the dark, the host kept reassuring me, the power would come back on. 「Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area..」

There was a lot of noise in the corridors from the other occupants very early in the morning. Overall not the best option for solo travellers」

「They do not accept reservation through Expedia. Stay away from this property. The area is dusty and far from the beach.」

「Do not go here !! Cannot emphasis this enough, they run so」

「No hot water. The price advertised and paid was not honoured. Had to pay more in cash. Aircon couldnt be used or power will run out. The staff are good and location is good 」
