「Parking inside the courtyard was a blessing」

「We left after two nights because this might be the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. When reported to the front desk, we were met with indifference, so two days passed with a backed up sink. The shower was the smallest I have ever encountered - 20 inches by 20 inches (.5 meter x .5 meter). The lukewarm water dribbled out - barely, meaning that it was very difficult to rinse the soap off. 「This is an oasis of quiet. An old farmhouse, beautifully appointed. They will make dinner and breakfast for you. There is a lovely restaurant-bar area. You can walk a little ways in the woods. There is a pool. It was a relief to spend two nights here away from the cities. The mt etna park is just 23km away. Perfect!」

The toiletries were excellent and well packaged. The dishes for the breakfast were charming. The bed and shower were great. It is very quiet. 「Vi hade fina dagar på hotellet. Gillade särskilt poolen som vi i princip hade för oss själva. Frukostbuffén var riktigt fin och du kunde även beställa varma rätter som ingick. Giarre som ort är ganska sömnig. Du behöver bil för att ta dig runt. Vi testade middagen på hotellet en kväll. Superfin mat men ingen barnmeny. Skulle tipsa om La Spiga som ligger 200m från hotellet om ni vill äta genuin italiensk mat. 」

「Camera molto carina, anche se un po' piccola per tre persone, con balconcino privato. Spa ben organizzata. Colazione eccezionale in sala da pranzo con vista mozzafiato. Unica pecca, i materassi un po' sformati.」

「Très belle bâtisse avec un charme désuet. Dommage que notre chambre (mobilier, salle de bain etc) ai été aussi figée dans le temps avec mobilier ancien et disparate. Déjeuner sans plus et triste. Attention l'hôtel privatise la piscine et ses alentours pour des événements comme mariages etc donc accès très limités si vous voulez profiter des installations promises.」

「ドゥオーモ広場から100m足らず、魚市場の直ぐ北側のわさわさした界隈ですが、玄関ドアも常にロックされていて、館内は静かで安心して過ごせました。　レセプション、クリーニング等全てのスタッフが感じ良かったです。　恐らく古い躯体の建物でしょうが、最新機器でモダンにリノベーションされていました。　キッチン（食器）付きですが、さすがに調理はしませんでした。　ただ、お湯を沸かしてお茶を入れるだけでも作業がゆったりと出来ました。　うす暗い部屋が多いヨーロッパでは珍しいと思いますが、シーリングライトが付いています。フロアーランプ、ブラケットを含め室内を明るくすることも出来るので、そこも日本人にはありがたいです。　電気関係のスイッチ・プレートはタッチ・パネルです（まだ、日本製にはないかも？）　」
