「Stayed for 1 night on a business trip - greeted in a very friendly receptionist, room was as described online and had a very pleasant stay.」

「We enjoyed our one night stay in this historic pub, with free off street parking. Battle is a wonderful village full of history and we really enjoyed the evening exploring the town and enjoying the vista. The hotel is small, old and quaint. The room was small,but comfortable with a private bathroom with shower,along with complimentary tea and coffee. Would recommend this Inn for exploring this historic area of East Sussex.」

「We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again!」

「The hotel is well situated in the high street. There is parking (albeit limited). Staff on arrival was pleasant but I didn’t see anyone after that. Old building so floors ( including stairs) were uneven and there was no lift. Not a problem for me but I would imagine not everyone could get upstairs. I was in room 19, top of building. No air con but there was a fan in the room. I was on my own but the room was a bit of a tight fit if a couple were in there. Bed linen and towels very clean....

「There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. 「The accommodation was absolutely spot on and I cannot recommend it enough. Easy to find, central location with parking round the corner. Joseph the host was attentive and gave clear instructions of check in etc. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Super dog friendly too. The staff at the Seadog pub were brilliant. We even had dinner and drinks there, such a nice pub. If you’re staying in Hastings definitely book yourself in here.」

「場所は町の中心にあり、ロケーションもよく、通りに面しており、目を引く素敵な外観なので分かりやすいです。　ホテルの中も、お部屋も古い歴史を感じるとても素敵な造りです。お部屋も清潔で快適でした。ホテル内は入り組んだ迷路のようになっていて見てるだけでも楽しめました。エレベーターはないです。ホテルのパブが閉まった後も２４時間いつでもお酒を頼めるのでお客さんがいなくなったホテルのバーでゆっくりできました。最高に優雅な時間を過ごせました。とても素敵なホテルですが、強いて言えば、夫も言っていましたが、ホテルの方に笑顔がなく、機械的な対応の方が多かったですがきちんと仕事してくれました。チェックアウトも１２時なのでゆっくり過ごせました。」

「All staff were very accommodating and friendly including the reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble. A super hotel, unique in style, and situated right on the beach. Breakfast menu is vast with waiter/waitress service all looking continental and very chic! There is an ‘All Day Menu’ with delicious food to suit all tastes. We had a very relaxing stay and will certainly be back, Thank you to all at the Relais..,,..」

「Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel.」

「I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed with the limited choice at breakfast. Only cooked breakfast which I don't eat and no cereals, porridge or fruit etc.」
