"The facilities and amenities were excellent a coffee maker with fresh coffee, fresh milk, but also quality teas and upon arrival fresh cookies. Those are the little touches together with friendly smiling staff that lifts any stay to the next standard. On top of it all a good nights stay, gorgeous breakfast and a very tasty dinner. "We stayed here as a base to visit Stonehenge. We were surprised at the quality of our stay here. The staff were very nice and helpful. It is a small parking lot and they had a function which took up the lot. The staff were incredibly helpful in find a spot for me, so I didn't have to park off site. "Had a lovely 3 night stay whilst we were over for a wedding. The room was lovely and clean, with everything we could need. We chose to only have breakfast on the first morning, as it was cheaper to walk into town. Our only disappointment was that we only found out that we had to pay for parking the day before we arrived. Parking was one of the main reasons that we chose the hotel, so this was a bit annoying. At least it was discounted."

"This is a very old and historic hotel. The rooms are nice and the bathroom was very nicely modern upgraded. The hotel is close to the city center with lots of restaurants. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel. They provide a parking pass for cars at a nearby parking lot. Felt very safe and comfortable."

"An amazing week in what turned out to be a heatwave so the outdoor pool was just perfect (4 of us with kids 12&16). Definitely made the most of it. Location brilliant just 15-20 mins from Salisbury with the train to Bath, but other villages and locations including the south coast about an hour away. Amazing property and Sam & Bruce were amazing hosts - really welcoming and gave us suggestions of where to go. Would definitely return ☺️"
