The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it」

「Our first visit to Costa Rica. We were impressed by the hospitality and friendliness of the Costa Rican people. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and include a TV, air conditioning, a safe, bathroom amenities, bed linens, and a coffee machine. A shuttle service to and from the airport is available. The car, frankly, isn't very comfortable (especially if you have large luggage), but that's not the main issue. We had a decent breakfast: an omelet, fruit, juice, coffee, a slice of bacon,...

「My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.」
