"Very old out dated property. Smelly cooking on floor 5 but quiet in the room. Not for the family. Maybe a guys weekend? Bathrooms are okay. "

"This was honestly one of the more frustrating hotel stays I’ve had. At about 6:45am, I was woken up by housekeeping right outside my door and in the rooms next to me. Vacuuming, doors slamming over and over, people talking in the hallway. Not 9am. Not even 8am. Before 7am. That’s just not okay. My room was also right next to a heavy exterior door to the parking lot that slammed every time someone went in or out, so even before housekeeping started, it wasn’t exactly a quiet setup. I called the front desk thinking they’d at least acknowledge it, and instead got a pretty dismissive response. The guy said, “What do you want? They need to clean the rooms.” No apology, no attempt to fix anything. Just attitude. After that, I called the corporate line and still haven’t heard anything back. Between being woken up that early by staff, the noise, and how it was handled, this really missed the mark. I’ve asked for a full refund because this wasn’t even close to what you expect from a hotel stay. Would not stay here again."

"Location is fantastic. It’s an original motel that has been spruced up with new paint and updated bathrooms. It has a choppy layout. But staff were great. Location is amazing. Walked right out our door and clipped into the skis. Would do it again for a last minute ski trip like the one we were on. "

"The photos are lightened in the listing. The rooms are so dark that it’s almost like a dungeon. The bathroom light was so dim we joked it was like a gas station bathroom. The bedroom light was fluorescent and god awful. Bedroom only has one night stand. Bathroom caulk was black with mold. Broken patio chair. Muddy walk to the slopes. Fleece blanket on bed was tired and worn. Fridge was so loud you could hear it with bedroom door closed. The only thing louder was the bathroom fan that actually sounded like a jet engine. Shower head mounted so low that if you are taller than 5’3”, you have to bend down to get anything above the neck wet. Hot tub was so foamy it was concerning. On the positive side, shower water pressure was good and kitchen pans were good. Bed was adequate otherwise, terrible lodging."

"Unfortunately this winter was not the winter for snow. The ski in option was not an option. The ski out required walking down 3 flights of stairs across a street through another condo’s walkway to grass which brought you to a trail to the base. Since the ski in option didn’t have snow the same path for ski out is what you need to do for ski in. The unit was clean, upon arrival the Roku for the master bedroom had not been hooked up and when we looked for a frying pan couldn’t find one. Contacted the property manager and they sent a tech to set up the Roku and house keeping dropped off a new frying pan. The property manager was very attentive. The location of the condo allowed for easy access to the ski area, however this unit does not have a dedicated shuttle so if you want to get to the town of steamboat, you’ll need a car or uber or walk to the stop for the city bus. The view off the deck is looking up the ski hill which is nice. The complex is an older property requiring the use of keys. 2 keys for the unit. Which requires some coordination of returning to the unit. A key is necessary to get in the back and front entrance of the complex. "

"location was great, we had what we neededthe master bed mattress was sloping in the middle a bit.we also had some frustration with the retreatia shuttle, it was not very accessible.all in all we enjoyed our stay"
