「Great for an early flight - we checked in the night before and walked to the airport first thing. There were some lovely walks nearby but limited eating options within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. 」

「Really liked our stay, cosy and great atmosphere in pub dining area, in the rooms not all windows could be opened, frames were tatty and needing attention as with paint work on inner doors, however would still stay again, also handy for Bristol airport」

「Room and bathroom were extremely clean and well kept. Pub is separate from the rooms but about 20 meters walk away and they serve food which is convenient. Very quiet area. Comfy beds. Plenty of parking. Easy drive to Bath from here, took about 25 mins. Complementary tea and coffe sachets with kettle and biscuits. Full length mirror and then another mirror in bathroom and another infront of the desk area. Good size bathroom with well working shower which is nice and hot. 」

「This is a lovely hotel, very well appointed with generally very helpful staff and lovely rooms and a magnificent building. The only issue we had was with the service at breakfast (no problems with service at dinner at all). We were left standing waiting to be seated for some time as the queue was not really visible to the main dining area and no-one was seemingly assigned to the desk. In addition the tea and coffee orders were very slow to come (this on more than one occasion) so much so we had...
