"We stayed with family for my daughter's wedding at a local wedding venue. The property is a working farm with beautiful mountain views. The house and guest house have been updated in the past but still feels like staying in an old farmhouse complete with squeaky wood floors. Great location close to major highways. Our family enjoyed the farm animals and listening to the rooster crow in the morning. We had an issue with check in but the owner made sure we were compensated for our inconvenience. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Perfect getaway for friends and family. "

"My family enjoyed spending Mother’s Day weekend at Firefly Retreat on Lake Lanier in South Carolina. We wondered around downtown Landrum one day and downtown Tryon the next. What cute little towns! We played on the lake with the paddleboard and kayak and had a little fire in the fire pit at the house. We think you’d enjoy this little getaway too. *Side note. Our trip was originally planned for October 2024 but Hurricane Helene hit just two weeks before our planned trip. The owners graciously agreed to let us reschedule to a later date and we are grateful. "

"What a lovely find! The property is beautiful and the cottage is the cutest ever!! It has everything you need for a stay. It is a farm and the chickens are free roaming, which I love. There are goats and horses. So peaceful and yet so close to many things. Ian is so wonderful, easy to talk to and work with. I met the neighbor and the girl who has the horses both nice people. I will be renting this place again!! "

"Beautiful view of the lake!! Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and soft bedding. Extra towels! Showers had plenty of hot water and strong water pressure The driveway would be difficult for me to navigate in the truck, but my husband did just fine!"
