"Very decent for a mid-range hotel. The room was small but had everything we needed, including little table with seats for dining/chilling. Bed was big and comfy and the bathroom was almost the same size as the entire room. They only provide small towels, which wasn’t a major problem, but would be nice to have a regular sized towels as well.
Super polite staff. Location is a bit away from the main shopping area, but it’s close to a metro station with frequent trains. Would stay again if in Daegu. "
"Hotel Laonzena was an average hotel and I would give it 3 stars. Our check-in process wasn't very welcoming - we arrived at 1.45pm, just an hour before the official check-in time of 3pm. We asked if we could check in early but the front desk lady immediately dismissed our request and told us to come back at 3pm. She didn't even take the initiative to check her computer to see if a room was available. That left us with quite the unwelcoming experience. The room was a bit dated and tired looking, and small. The double bed also wasn't that comfortable. The bathroom was good though. The swimming pool was closed throughout our stay. They gave us a single coupon for breakfast which was very strange given there were two of us. The breakfast layout was very strange - there were about 7-8 round tables with 6 chairs each. Food was mainly Korean cuisine but the coffee was good. Unlike the check-in experience, the front desk staff during our check-out were very friendly and polite. They even stored our luggage for us in a secure location after we checked out, and even called us a taxi to the train station. They told us the ride was about 7 minutes and would cost around 7,000 Won, and it was very accurate. "
"I stayed 2 nights in the Junior Pool Suite Double Room at Hotel Susung, with a beautiful view of Suseong Lake. The room was spacious, had a jacuzzi, and included a bidet in the bathroom. The rooftop pool offered a stunning panoramic view, and the breakfast buffet was delicious."
