Just cant really lay out in the sun and the room i stayed in was very basic and could use a scrubbing and some paint, but the AC worked well. Just one look inside the Choj Ha cenote was all I needed to place it in the No. 1 spot in my list of All-Time Favorite Cenotes. A massive cave full of columns, stalactites and stalagmites, with a beautiful area for swimming and another one for cave diving. Even though it is located around 30 minutes away from Valladolid, it is a fairly unknown cenote managed by a small mayan community. Definitely worth the ride if you're looking for a really interesting place off the beaten path.
