To finalize your booking, a signed rental agreement is required, along with a valid photo ID and a quick selfie for verification. This must be completed within 7 days of booking to avoid cancellation.
Please note: A background check will be completed before arrival details are shared. This helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Must be 25 years of age to rent this property.
⏰ Early Check-In / Late Check-Out
Want to extend your stay a bit? Early check-in (12 PM) and late check-out (2 PM) are available for a $150 per request—subject to availability.
💍 No Events or Weddings
We love a good celebration, but for the comfort of all guests and neighbors, events and weddings are not permitted.

To busy of an area

My husband and I were coming down to relax. The area is very suburban like, any in every restaurant store gas station car wash grocery store you need is very close by; that is a plus. The problem is though the condo is quiet. There is a freeway that you’re looking out at off the balcony and a very busy road to the right of the balcony.. you can hear all the traffic. The inside of the condo was just as pictured very nice neat clean well stocked with initial supplies needed. The outside on the other hand is very weathered. Both balconies had spiders, cobwebs, and bees coming in and out of the wood. The little cities around are very easy to get to. To go up north it’s about an hour and a half to get into the mountains. The PGA golf course is two hours away. We did not get the sensation of being on vacation and relaxing. That is why I gave it my rating of three stars.

Lovely, relaxing stay

We loved our stay at Top Shelf. The location was perfect! Very quiet and clean. Southern Charm was very accessible to communicate should anything have come up. We would definitely come stay again!

Pretty view

Pretty view and close to many destinations. Well kept condo with very pretty view of the lake. You’re right between a major road and the interstate so it is a little loud out on the deck or on the lakeside of the property. Convenient location to Davidson, the lake, Mooresville, and many restaurants. The condo also had all the pots and pans we needed for cooking dinner in one night.

Great place!

Beautifully furnished and maintained. Everything you’d need is there, except no dish towels but paper towels served the purpose. Great location. Only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a few Christmas decorations since we were there the week of Christmas but we were at family Christmas Eve and day . Totally enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Perfect for Wedding Stay

The condo and the grounds were a perfect backdrop for my daughter's wedding. We used the space to get ready for the wedding (bride, maid of honor and mother of the bride). The condo had some really spectacular photo spaces as well as the grounds. High end amenities and a crisp neutral design made everything pop! It was also a perfect place for the newlyweds to spend their first night together before they left for their honeymoon. I will definitely keep this property in mind for a future more recreational stay...the close proximity to Eddies on the Lake and the balconies with the incredible lake views make this a prime spot!

Nice locale, but very busy area

This is a beautiful condo that is well cared for. Perfect for 2 with family. There is a loft and outside sun deck that is nice, but if the neighbors dog is out at the same time you are, it doesn’t work. Lots of pluses….owner cares. Two quality restaurants on site.

super thoughtful, pretty, and clean vacation accommodations

My little family truly enjoyed the unit. This roomy unit was very clean and decorated so lovely. It was modern, but comfortable and homey at the same time. The kitchen - and truly all of the small in-home amenities - were very well thought out and much appreciated. The rental management company was quickly responsive to questions we had about the property. They were great. We hope to visit again soon. Other than some very minor common area maintenance that could be better tended to (which is totally beyond the owner’s control - e.g., wooden walkway plank replacement, foliage cut back off the stairwells and walkways, quite large parking lot pot holes, and litter) the unit is perfect and a definite luxury getaway.

Enjoyable Stay

We decided to stay at the Top Shelf property on Lake Norman, NC. The Southern Charm management team was outstanding. We had some minor issues with door access and internet, but they were right on it. The property it’s self was so beautiful and clean. We highly recommend it and we hope we will be able to stay again during the warmer months. Thank you owners and thank you Southern Charm for a wonderful experience.
