Lake Norman Waterfront Cottage with Private Dock

This property is nestled along the shores of Lake Norman in a cove just off the main channel. There is a floating dock that will accommodate a pontoon boat. There is a large covered patio with furniture and a deck that overlooks the private backyard surrounded by trees for privacy. Upon arriving you will notice a circular drive with abundant parking. The kitchen, living, and dining areas are open to each other which is great for entertaining. Each bedroom is adequately sized. Two bedrooms provide water views of Lake Norman. Lovely Location!

What a fantastic location to relax and unwind, right on Lake Norman! Everything was perfect about this home, down to the super comfortable beds and linens! They were great! The view is beautiful, the deck -with the sofas to lounge around, outdoor dining, the dock to sit and read, - very quiet location. The outdoor fire pit was awesome at night ! The house is tastefully furnished , the kitchen is well stocked, and the check in was flawless. Will definitely return in the future!

Clean, well stocked beautiful waterfront home!

We enjoyed staying at this home very much! The location is great and very accessible, as well as very quiet. The house is very clean, the A/C and fans work great, and the layout of the house is great. The large outdoor couch is especially comfortable and we spent a lot of time out there, even in the extreme heat that we had this week (temps in the mid-90’s every day). We loved that there was a fan on the porch, which helped a lot. Other Pros: The king-size bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable (we didn’t try the other beds as there were only the two of us), the wireless internet worked great, the kitchen is very well stocked, and there were plenty of towels, paper products, and cleansers, which was greatly appreciated. The circular driveway was very handy & nice. And the living room TV was huge! Also, we drove our Tesla here, and there was a Tesla Supercharger 10 minutes away - very useful. A few minor Cons: the furniture is rather sparse (especially in bedrooms 2 & 3), and the family room couch & chairs are not very comfortable. A small desk in one of the bedrooms would be an awesome addition, as my husband worked from home here this week and had to work from the dining room table, which was inconvenient. The water frontage is very narrow, the lake is not very wide across at this location, and the dock is very small. (We never got into the water from the dock, so we cannot comment on that.) All in all, we were very satisfied with this home for our 6 day stay. Our favorite things about this rental were the great layout of this 3 bedroom house, the view of the lake, the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, the quietness of the neighborhood, the general accessibility to the area, and the back covered porch. We enjoyed it very much!

Peaceful Getaway

The house was a great getaway while visiting family in Charlotte and Mooresville. Very clean, close to great restaurants, and the lake was very relaxing. I highly recommend this property!

Great house!

The house was very clean and just as pictured - loved the big screen TV in the living room, and the kitchen was well appointed! We also loved that there was lots of extra sunscreen and lotions etc. available in the linen closet. The outer deck was lovely …. Overall a great stay other than a little construction noise in the neighborhood.
