「Excellent and charming renovated period buildinh with very responsive communication before and during stay. 15min walk from train station and business terminus and 10min into town center. Beautiful and serene garden and patio. Quality of the rooms and amenities are high/new. ‘Kozy’ rooms are best for short stays as they are truly cozy, especially sinks in the bathroom. For long stays, chose a regular/double.」

「The property was exactly as described and we found it to be clean, comfortable, and beyond our expectations. The site its self was a peaceful escape away from the crowds of other parts of the lakes but still within an easy drive from Keswick. The check in process was simple and all instructions were sent prior to arrival, which was really useful.」

「The property had everything we needed, including a deck and BBQ. The resort had a shop, pool, bar and restaurant but we tended to walk and tour all day and eat at the house which had a fully equipped kitchen.」

「Very nice property with a pretty little sitting area to watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, neat and well equipped kitchen. Check in and communication with Matt was very easy. Nice parking spot just outside the pretty garden. Would recommend highly. It’s a great location for exploring the northern lakes district and easy to get to Keswick. Very quiet and peaceful location. A nice touch was a bouquet of fresh roses upon our arrival.」

「Cute little cottage in a good location with everything you would need. Stairs are typical of the age of the cottage, after a day out in the hills they became a challenge in themselves! 「We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!」

「The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags.」

「This was a lovely space for our family of 4. The kitchen was generally well-equipped. Beds were warm and comfy. Check-in and parking instructions etc were clear. It was a good base for our Lakes adventure.」
