"We were there for our nephew's college graduation and when we checked in, we got a little Graduation stuffed bear and a little gift bag with some snacks and waters in it. Was very thoughtful! The staff were very pleasant and respectful. Breakfast was good and had good on the go options as well since we were in a hurry both mornings we were there. Room was quiet and very clean, bed was comfy. If I had to point out one thing, it was that our heater was a little loud. Sounded like it might be going to heater heaven soon. :) But overall, it wasn't that cold out so we only used it to get the chill out of the room."

"Check in went great, Taylor was very professional, helpful and kind. He also helped us when the key stopped working and he happened to be on our floor, opened the door for us an brought back 2 new keys, that was going above and beyond and the reason I'm writing this review. The hotel have seen better days, not sure if its going thru a remodel. The breakfast, very poor, the hot food was cold and the toaster didn't toast. The coffee was ok. They dont clean your room unless you request it, which surprised me. We stayed there for a whole week and our room was cleaned after 4 days because I asked a maid on our floor and she explained they dont do it unless it is requested. They still have the old fashion tini soap bottles, not the shower soap dispenser, so we had to request more soap on day 2, since they dont clean your rooms daily, another hassle. Overall, I gave a 3 star rating."

"The is an exceptionally beautiful property. If you love history and have a love for historic properties this is your place. Beautiful period decorated rooms. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The Inn has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely try to get back up that way again. Thank you for your hospitality and an excellent stay."

"Staff was efficient, friendly, and most helpful. They went above and beyond in securing a refund from expedia when we had a family emergency, as we had to leave a day early. The breakfast was excellent as well."

"When we checked in the front desk was nice. Our room was NOT there were stains on everything, the bathroom was disgustingly discolored and gross. The whole room reeked like cigarettes despite it supposedly being non smoking. They did change our room and it was much better but the ick factor had already hit us pretty hard. I don’t think it would have felt so gross if we had never seen that first room. The front desk at check out was not personable but it was “fine”. We went in 2019 and it was much better back then. Probably won’t stay there again. Disappointed because having been in the past I expected better."
