Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "

After visiting Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Fátima. While you're in the area, find time to visit its temples.
"This is a large and luxurious hotel that's a great base for exploring the area. The rooms are comfortable and huge, the staff helpful and competent, the facilities (pool, pool table, etc.) really nice (the indoor pool is quite something, though we didn't need it in the summer). Breakfast delicious in the Portuguese manner---we never tried the restaurant for dinner but it looked fine. The Templar castle/monastery is well worth a visit in itself, and Tomar has some nice restaurants. And Coimbra, Nazare, and the monasteries at Batalha and Alcobaca are all within about an hour's drive."
"Such a lovely property. Very clean and accessible. Location was pretty much in the hub of activity and was very close to most of the attractions we visited. Staff was kind and very helpful. If I come back to Coimbra, I would absolutely come back here to stay! "
