「This place is pure gold!! I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels not as well-appointed as this house. The owners have thought of every single thing a reasonable guest could want. It truly is the little things that make the biggest difference. From the clear (and current) labels on everything to the much-talked-about cozy beds (and bedding), these hosts have nailed it and make this lake rental worth every penny. I especially appreciated the screened-in porch, the ample drawers and storage in bedrooms, the...

「Great place for multiple "small families" (couples with tiny humans) ! Layout was fantastic, organized and spacious, no one felt overwhelmed/cluttered but the children were easy to keep eyes on! Host was quick with responses, and accommodations, also very kind and understanding! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!」

「Fantastic location and really nicely done home. It was a perfect touch having a desk in one of the rooms to be able to get work done.」

「Overall amazing experience! Right in the heart of downtown Pickens and gorgeous house!」

「The owners were very easy to reach, remedied issues quickly; and friendly. The master bed is huge and comfy. We could not use one of the bedrooms the first night which was very frustrating because we were exhausted (it reeked of dog urine but they came the next morning and replaced rug and cleaned floor). There were also a couple roach sightings :( I would have given a 5 star if some sort of monetary recoup for the loss of one bedroom for the night had been offered.」

「The house was just what we needed for our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I want to shout out the host for how well everything was labeled. It was easy to find what we needed. We had the utensils and pans we needed for the cooking we did. Having spices and butter available was a nice convenience.」

「It was very clean, spacious, and very welcoming and cozy. I definitely appreciated that there were labels telling you where things were and which light switches were for what. It was all just very homey feeling. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay」

「This property exceeded our expectations. It was so clean and has the convenience of being so close to town. We’ll be back!」
