This house is fantastic. It is in a great location, whether you're staying local, driving into Easley and Greenville, or taking the scenic roads toward the mountains. This was our third stay at this property, and we really love this place. Perhaps the most cherished memory from this most recent stay is showing my daughter fireflies in the evening.
I would highly recommend this property. The host was wonderful and the accommodations were just as described. I would definitely stay at this property again. This was more than a house, it felt like home.
Loved that the property was only 15 minutes from climbers parking at Big Rock and only 10 minutes from ProjectRock. Lots of charm, walking distance to a few good local spots. Village Inn right across the street is highly recommended for a good breakfast. Will definitely add this location to my favorites.
The house was perfect location for hiking and seeing family. Plenty of room and very comfortable and quit location.
The teenagers loved the tiny side door.
Tidy, well-stocked, older home in downtown Pickens. Loved the big kitchen, bar, and dining area. Melissa was highly responsive as a host, and went out of her way to accommodate us.
We stayed for a women’s conference at a church in Easley SC. Home was as described, clean, and it the cutest small town. Owner was very responsive and made sure our stay went well.
Great Property - Just what we needed for a short stay
Plenty of room, Nice big bedrooms. Home was clean, had excellent internet WIFI and was perfect for our stay in the area. Kitchen was open/clean and was well stocked. Would not think twice about staying here again when we visit the area in the future. Thanks again!
This little house has so much charm. Right on the Main Street and convenient to everything.
We really enjoyed our time. Plenty of room to spread out.
Convenient to Greenville as well.
Narrow side door was unique and custom front door reminded me of the Hobbit.
We would stay there again.
Our stay was very comfortable and everything we needed was in the home. Grocery store, restaurants, and church are close by. The property was exactly as it shown on the site. We would not hesitate staying there again or recommending the home to others.
Excellent. Another great visit in the upstate area for our family. This was our second stay at this home as we did the same trip in 2023 as well. House had plenty of room for us and it is a great location for downtown shopping/eating. We also took a boat day on Lake Jo and the weather was perfect. Thanks again.
This was my second time staying at the property. Since my last visit, there have been a few great updates, such as games for littles. My wife and I definitely recommend this place. It's on the main street next to great restaurants and Coyote Coffee. The backyard is also nice :).
We stayed at the property for Thanksgiving and the Clemson game. We have stayed in the area several times but it was the first visit for my parents from the Midwest. It was just as the owner advertised - beautiful old home in the heart of Pickens. There were places to go eat very near as well as the Ingles just a few miles away. We also got to see the next door shop's calico sleeping in the window - what a cutie.
While yes, the home is old, it's equipped with a modern kitchen where we made our Thanksgiving meal and played games on the big table. There were plenty of dishes, pans, and other things we might need. The big couch was very comfortable and we were able to watch games and Christmas movies on our down time. The house is old and creaky but so charming, and it stayed warm in the cold temps. The sheets were so soft and the shower was so comfortable! The surprises are the beautiful trees in the front yard with pine cones that look like roses.
We would stay here again and the owner was so accommodating and responsive, which is what other renters have said. We highly recommend this little gem in Pickens!
We absolutely loved staying here! Such a nice, homey feel--from spacious bedrooms, glass door knobs, lovey wooden and glass front door, an airy side porch with a view of the gorgeous, gigantic tree out front. Even our small grandchildren were excited to stay here--the 4 yr old wanted to make sure we were coming back after our day's outing to spend another night! And Melissa was very kind and helpful answering all my questions!

We were visiting family in Pickens and needed a place to sleep for 3 nights. House was very charming for an older home and was a great place for our family of 5 to stay! Highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Pickens.
It was very easy to check in. A lot of information was left about the area. The house was old, but everything has been updated. We were very happy with the house, the area and the host. I would recommend this house and may be back again someday.
Review based on understanding it is a 125 year-old house. House was clean, well kept, beds comfortable, kitchen well appointed, clotv works, close to shops and restaurants, and host responsive! Only cons were bathroom has to be shared by all with almost no vanity space, and once anyone awakens and gets up, it wakes everyone up as old, beautiful hardwoods are very squeaky throughout (but expected in an old house).
The property is spacious and in a convenient location. It is within walking distance of a great local coffee shop and cafes. The living spaces are large and accommodating: living room, dining room, and a table on the porch.
