「The property is really run down and in need of updating. The staff tried to overcome the obstacles they are stuck with in regards to the hotel condition. Check in is at 3pm, we arrived at 7:30 and our room had not been cleaned yet and we had to wait an additional hour before we could get in. The key card lock on our door would not work and we had to have the front desk let us in 3 separate times. The show was never hot and was luke warm at best, the fsucet on the sink did not have cold water...

「What they don't tell you is parking at their hotel is $15.88/day in addition to the nightly charge + taxes. The mattress was not comfortable. The shower doors didn't close all the way and water leaked on the floor. We turned the tv off when we went to bed and couldn't get it to turn back on the next morning. Buffet was not good.」

「The room was very clean and the bathroom cleaner. We had a nice view of the area and were within walking distance of everything a tourist could want or need. We were in town for a concert and were only 2 minutes from the venue. The staff was friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The hotel itself, while in a historic building, never felt "old". I would have to go outdoors to go to the next levels of the casino which to be fair. This is a historic town so I get that they don't want to alter it very much and the parking was across the street and you had to go around the parking lot and they don't like to shovel the sidewalks and Deadwood sidewalks are very icy which does happen in...
