「We really loved this place! Initially we were concerned because we couldn't find it - but that was my fault because i didnt see the email. You have to walk along the edge of the community soccer field to get there. But, once we got settled we absolutely loved it! The owners have the sweetest dogs - they were a highlight for us (we were seriously missing our dog). Everything was comfortable and close to everything. Plus, we got a front row seat to the local soccer games from our porch!...

「I had a great 9 night stay at the cabanas. Athena and Tristin were amazing hosts!!! The location is perfect, breakfast was delicious, and the property is well taken care of. Athena gave thoughtful recommendations and taught me a lot about Belizean culture. I truly left feeling like family. It is clear that Athena loves to help her guests in anyway possible and wants to give them the best time possible in Belize. I recommend Secret Beach Cabanas to anyone staying on Ambergris Caye」

「This property is lovely, room is clean, hot water is great, no a/c which I knew, very strong fan plus ceiling fan kept me cool. The fan is loud, doesn’t keep me from sleeping tho. A beautiful place to stay and I would come back again.」

「I've never written a negative review about a property but I rely heavily on reviews so thought I'd share my experience. I'll start off by saying the owner is friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, this was more a place to stay if you're looking for a very basic stay where you want to rough it. The room is super hot, the bed is uncomfortable and when walking back at night there isn't proper lighting. I don't recommend it to female solo travellers. I did not feel safe. 「This property was easy to access and communicate with the management. There is a manager, Michael, that lives on the island who is very responsive and friendly. Overall the cottage is above standard for the island of Caye Caulker and we very much enjoyed the stay. it was also a bonus to have a pool to dip in at night and cool off after a long hot day in the sun!」

「Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life.」
