"On a gorgeous part of the island, the view and the staff are fantastic. A little more variation in the food/menu options would be a great add. We also missed the salt water pools which ere not working, but they looked beautiful. The biggest plus is the staff who make the trip special."

"I cannot emphasize enough the absolute beauty of this property. The hotel is situated on a cliffside about a 15 minute walk from Marina Corta. The pool and rocky sea-access are breathtaking. If you snag a chair in the morning, which were sometimes hard to come by with people "reserving" chairs with towels, you can spend the day lounging and taking dips into the ocean. Incredible. Breakfast was included, though a little basic, but the views from the restaurant alone make up for it. The AC worked well in the rooms, which were a little basic, but we were not expecting perfection on an island. There is a small, reasonably well air conditioned gym in a room by the pool. The restaurant for dinner was fine, but I would recommend going into town to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bartenders were great. I really cannot emphasize enough, however, how beautiful this place is. I had a great stay."
Prestigious historic house with private garden, under the Lipari castle

"Eugenio is an excellent host. Very tentative to our needs and helpful with local things to see and do while visiting the islands. The place is absolutely beautiful. Old world architecture built at the base of the castle wall and furnished with the hosts family heirlooms. The home has very high fresco ceilings in the two bedroom suites. Each with their own sitting areas and balconies over looking Via Garibaldi. The arched windowed walkway to the upper kitchen, second bath and outdoor tropical garden and terrace are well designed and furnished with family heirlooms as well . We enjoyed watching the two turtles roam in the tropical garden and the friendly blackbird. Great location close to Marina Corta."

"Staff were amazing, A Air conditioning worked perfectly. Our Superior Sea View room had a great view. The pool was our favourite part, as the weather never dropped below 30 degrees, it was refreshing to have to say the least. Only a few minutes to walk into the town/main streets."

"The room was comfortable and the breakfast terrace was a great way to start the day. The location is great, a short 5 minute walk into the main port area. I do recommend taking them up on their transfer offer to the port, I booked my own cab and it was 3x the price. The only issues I ran into was that the WiFi wasn't strong enough to do much of anything...no streaming on the TV, no video calls, my cell service was faster. If you need reliable internet service, look elsewhere. The housekeepers also kept opening the windows and letting in mosquitos while i was out, I probably killed 10-15 in my room over the course of 3 days. At one point someone (not sure if it was housekeeping or the general manager) came into my room without knocking, I just happened to be chilling in bed so it wasn't a big deal at the time but imo staff should always knock before entering an occupied room at a hotel. For the price it was worth it, but they need to work on some things for it to be more than a decent budget option."
