「We had a lovely long weekend break in this beautiful house. The house is warm and comfortable and had everything we could need. The decor is lovely and the big dining table was great for card games as well as dining! The firepit was also a huge hit. So relaxing looking at the great views too. 「Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!」

「This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back.」

「Had a last minute change in travel plans and luckily this place was available. So happy the travel plans changed because this spot was incredible. Ginormous house with everything you need. 「The lodge was in a great location for visiting all the local areas. It was comfortable, really clean & well equipped. So much nature to see just at the lodge, lots of bunnies and birds & some inquisitive cows 😊 we had a wonderful stay & would definitely stay again in the future. 「Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling.
