A truly sporting challenge is a rafting trip through the rapids of the Alcantara. Or sign up for canyoning, a mix of hiking, swimming, and mountaineering, or explore the surrounding areas by mountain bike. The Alcantara River offers something for everyone. Free climbing and off-road trips with an all-terrain vehicle are also offered. You can also go on a classic hike and enjoy the splendid views. A truly unique natural spectacle awaits you on Mount Etna. From the Rifugio Etna-Nord, you can take an off-road bus to the observatory at 2,900 meters. Our tip: Take the slightly longer route to the Rifugio Sapienza (about 60 kilometers, south of Etna) and fly over the lava fields and lateral craters by cable car. The play of colors in nature will amaze you.
