"The photos of the accommodation are beautiful, but our expectations were too high. It was outdated, but also rock-hard chairs and extremely uncomfortable, unsitting couches. Beds with filthy mattresses that gave us rashes. Frying pans too dirty to bake in. A swimming pool that wasn't filled and the area cleaned until two weeks later. A laundry area was incredibly dirty. The reason I'm only posting now is because of the friendly owner. When I asked for extra cleaning supplies for the pans, she brought them and cleaned them as much as possible. They did their best to tidy up the outdoor area, including the one by the pool; the weather had been bad. A positive is the incredibly fantastic view of Vinci from the balcony. We left the house a week earlier than planned because we couldn't stand it any longer. New tenants can take all of this into consideration."

"Whilst we had a good holiday and the house was nice and good hosts, there are a couple of short comings when travelling with children. The listing does not state that the first floor bedroom is accessed externally and not directly linked to ground floor. This therefore meant our son could not be left in the ground or first floor bedroom alone. The listing needs to be more accurate, we probably won’t have booked if we had known. Also whilst pool was nice, no shallow end therefore our son could not stand in pool and play. Finally, an information folder with local information and recommendations would be helpful "

"There was only 3 of us staying so we had more room than we needed. The villa is set out on 5 floors so a fair few steps involved. At the bottom there was a loung and kitchen. The other floors are bedroom. They are themed bedrooms with pictures etc. from the owners collection. Very impressive. There are a lot of step and it's not geeared for the less mobile. but the terrace is lovely, cool and breezy when we went. Great to sit out of an evening, with mozzie protection!Aircon is all bedrooms but TBH you are better of leaving the windows open as the breeze is far better and the aircon is too noisy for me to sleep with.Car is essential. Local store has most things but too hot to walk there. supermarket is about 20mins away. More step to the swimming pool through a small olive orchard. But well worth it. fantastic views. thankfully there shade up there as well. Watch out for the sunset. that's nice with a glass of wine!"
