Quaint Cottage On Christmas Tree Farm in SE coastal Rhode Island

"This is a lovely cottage in a great setting and location. A special bonus was hanging out with the goats, roosters and Christmas trees. Gray's Ice Cream less than a mile away. My recommendation is to avoid the extremely expensive Groundswell cafe across the street from Gray's (unless you don't mind paying exorbitant prices) and go instead to Gray's Daily Grind (great breakfast truck across the street Thursday-Sunday) or Elsie's on the Commons in Little Compton. Both a short car ride or medium bike ride away."
Serenity Cottage on Stone Church! 1 bedroom cottage in charming Tiverton

"This absolutely lovely cottage in Tiverton, just a short and easy 40 minute drive into Newport, is beautifully done. A large living/kitchen/dining area greets you with a large king master bedroom upstairs. It's surrounded by nature, with beautiful landscaping. Definitely eat at the historic Four Corners Restaurant - excellent! The communication with the host was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our short, 2 nights there. The only small negative I would mention is the only bathroom is downstairs, and for us "older" folks who have at least one bathroom trip in the middle of the night, that was a little different, but again, minor. We loved this place! Thank you for being such a great host!"

Coastal Farmhouse Retreat in Little Compton, RI – Your Perfect Seaside Getaway

"We had an amazing 2 week stay. We had family and friends stay and the house was comfortable and roomy for all of the guests. The house is really well equipped with beach gear including chairs and toys as well as lawn games. The kitchen had most of the essentials needed for cooking and the grill. We loved the property with a sprawling lawn and beautiful sunsets. About a 10 minute drive to the beach and 20 to the grocery store, but really easy to navigate with no traffic in the area. We would definitely book this place again."

"Our group of 6 plus day visitors thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house! It is very spacious, beautifully decorated in beachy colors with beautiful marsh and water views. Nice quiet location not far from some quaint shops, restaurants and Sakonnet Vineyard. There was AC throughout the house, high quality bedding and appliances, a well equipped kitchen, etc. We enjoyed eating and relaxing on the screened-in porch. There was an issue with the TV which we finally resolved after speaking with the owner and changing the HDMI setting. Lots of good books including some for children. We were pleasantly surprised to find an outdoor shower around the back of the house which worked out great after a trip to the beach with our grandkids. We went to nearby South Shore Beach which had a 25 parking fee. Be prepared for a very rocky narrow beach. It did get better as the tide went out. You could also walk down into the Goosewing section for a sandier beach. Surf was rough the day we were there but fun for the kids (with supervision). There was a shallow, sandy area that fed into the pond behind us which the kids loved playing in. Wonderful beach getaway!"

"Sara’s house was perfect for our extended family of different ages in all ways. The pond on the property and kayaks available provided excellent entertainment for the young and older, and our traditional family baseball game on the lawn served beautifully as our “field of dreams.” Dining tables inside and out were ample, and the kitchen was well appointed for us. The air conditioning and other amenities helped to make our visit wonderful. We will hope to return!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage! The location is wonderfully private and peaceful, yet it’s just a mile or two from Second and Third Beaches, Sweetberry Farm, and all of the attractions Newport has to offer.The private backyard was one of our favorite features, with beautiful trees and stone walls bordering the Norman Bird Sanctuary. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.The cottage itself was the most well-equipped rental we have ever stayed in. Everything we could possibly need was provided, so all we had to bring were our personal belongings. The outdoor shower with changing area helped the 4 of us clean up quickly after a hike or day at the beach. The thoughtful touches made our arrival especially memorable—a beautiful vase filled with fresh flowers, a welcome gift, and snacks greeted us when we walked in and immediately made us feel special and at home.Lori was wonderful to communicate with and was responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed anything. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy with friends. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and convenient getaway near the beaches and Newport!"
