With comfortable furnishings, endless amenities, and a prime beachfront location, it’s the ideal spot to relax and make lasting memories with family and friends.

- The home has multiple stories as you navigate from the driveway to the sand, with no elevator, so this home may not be suitable for everyone.

Perfect for girls trip

Loved the property and quiet location. The view from the open-concept living area was beautiful and beach access was perfect. We had Birds Eye view of dolphins every day! It was walking distance to Carlsbad village and perfect bedroom-to-bathroom ratio for a group of four women.My only critique would be the rusty chain link fence separating the patio from the beach.

Great View, Dated Property

Great view of beach both north and south, but the property is extremely dated with window coverings that don’t quite work, scratched skillets / pans, had to call to figure out how to get in, where the laundry was (shared laundry downstairs with different access code that was not provided), etc.

Great Location

Location of property was great. Within walking distance to Carlsbad Village. The beach was right in the backyard, though, as noted in the prop description….there are stairs. To get to the sand you do need to walk over rocks… not boulders but river rock size. Beach was not crowded, which was nice. View from the house was outstanding. Property itself was comfortable but the overall property is dated especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Property Management company was very responsive to questions and requests.

Beautiful view and perfect for girls weekend

The Carlsbad Village property offered a beautiful view of the ocean and beach. My girlfriends and I sat on the two white couches by the windows and talked for hours, overlooking the surfers in the water. The property was very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The house would benefit from a little TLC and the bathrooms are dated and need some upgrades. Other than that it was the perfect place of my college girlfriend reunion. Plus, the town of Carlsbad is fantastic for a tasty dinner, boutique shopping and friendly people.

Perfect access and view of the beach

This is a delightful property with a huge family room that has an entire wall of windows overlooking the north end of Carlsbad beach (right on the bluff). Great restaurants and shopping near by. Easy access to beach right off the stair stepped patios in front. Fire pit for evening enjoyment

Buyer beware

The property location is perfect and it was clean-ish, except for flies that seemed to be everywhere. This house has no ac, which was disclosed on the property listing. Initially, this didn’t worry me as we’ve stayed at properties with no ac when visiting Southern California before. However most houses have air flow; this one does not. In the main living space, the entire wall of windows that over looks the beautiful ocean, there is one tiny window that opens and it’s on the far north side of the house. There is little to no air flow into the common living areas. The weekend we chose to visit there was an extreme heat advisory and the temps climbed to 85-90 degrees inside during the afternoons… using all of the fans in the property. Additionally the last night that we stayed there, the power went out. This was in the neighborhood, not just the property, so we have no idea if it was rolling blackouts or what the cause was. If a few beers weren’t had during dinner, we would have just driven back to our home state. To make matters worse, the property company was miserable to work with. From trying to find out what was in the house and what wasn’t, to trying to figure out what was happening with the electricity. It seems like a number of the customer service reps were either out of the state or country or both. They kept stating that they would need to contact the local team (which of course I couldn’t wait on hold or do myself) and that they would call back. Which did not happen except for one call regarding the electricity; they called to tell me that it was a local interruption of power and that it should be back on within a few hours. Our group had 3 babies under 3 and keeping them cool was a nightmare. If you choose to stay at this property, make sure the temperatures are very reasonable and you don’t need much from the property management company. We will not be returning, which is too bad because it is a beautiful property otherwise and great location.

Endless ocean views!

Pros: As soon as we stepped into unit A, the ocean view is just breathtaking. Bedrooms, living room, dining area, and kitchen were so spacious. Listen to the sound of the waves all day and night. Plenty of sandy shores for the kiddos to run around, and lots of pretty shells to collect during low tide. There is an entire room full of beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas to use. There is also an outdoor shower with warm water to wash off after your beach day. Plenty of patio furniture and a couple fire pits to relax next to with a glass of wine. Very clean and the beds were super comfy! The kitchen provides pretty much everything you need during your stay! Cons: The exterior is quite weather worn from the seaside environment. The interior has a few paint chips here and there. Two of the standing showers were quite narrow, but perfect size for kids. One of the living room window shades by the dining table was down and needed to be mounted. The WiFi was not the best, but we only tried to use it to watch Netflix after dinner. Overall wonderful stay! This was our first vrbo experiences and our family had so much fun!! Unit A is perfect for your next family beach vacay!
